Golf Cart vs. LSV in Southwest Florida

A standard golf cart (≈20 mph) may only be used on golf-cart-designated roads and paths. A street-legal LSV (20–25 mph) with full FMVSS 500 equipment can be registered, titled, insured, and driven on public roads posted at 35 mph or less — which covers many residential streets in Cape Coral and Fort Myers.

Can You Drive a Golf Cart on the Beach or to the Beach?
